Renewing items checked out from a PINES library

Renewing online:

• Navigate to http://gapines.org and enter the PINES online catalog.

• Click the My Account button

• Enter your PINES card number (the barcode number on your library card)

• Enter your PIN number. If you do not know your PIN number you may obtain it by presenting your PINES card to library staff at your home library.

• Click on the Items Checked Out tab

• Click on Renew next to the item you wish to renew

• Make a note of the new date due for your items. Overdue fines are $ .10 per day per book, audio book or video

Renewing by telephone:

• When renewing by telephone be prepared to read your library card number out to the library staff.

Reserve A Book Owned By Your Home Library System
 

• Go to http://gapines.org on your home computer
• Find the item you'd like to place on hold and click Place Hold
• Enter your library card number/username and your PIN number/password **
• The Create/Edit Hold screen will display the item title and your contact information. You can edit the contact telephone number as well as the pickup location if needed.
• Click Place Hold to confirm the hold placement You should get a confirmation box stating that the hold was successfully placed. Contact your local library if you need assistance.

** You can obtain your PIN number from your home library by presenting your library card to the library staff.
